The Carbon War Room is coordinating an open letter asking the IMO for a clear CO2 policy message. The letter, addressed to the heads of state of IMO member countries, is intended to build on the momentum generated by the COP21 climate agreement in Paris last December and will be sent in advance of the next Marine Environment Protection Committee’s session (MEPC 70).
Companies reliant on global shipping and industry providers such as ship-owners and managers are invited to sign the letter with their logo to show support for this initiative.
