Noam Chomsky is an American linguist, philosopher and social critic as well as a major figure in analytic philosophy and cognitive science. He is one of the most cited academics of all times and author of over 100 books. He is Institute Professor Emeritus at Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he has spent more than half a century researching and teaching.
